Money is the rote of all evil?

Yes, because our leaders are corrupt, greed for money and it also motivate an increasing number of government officials to stealing and get rich without been investigated. However it makes government officials to misuse it and some ending up double crossing each other.

We all witnessed what happen to Libya people went to war in order to control the countrie resources because of some people who want to be in charge because they want to be wealth and powerful. Not so long ago one of the most powerful countries supported rebels in Libya because of their own benefit.

The number of kidnapping and human trafficking is increasing daily because money is the rote of all evil, however some people are working as prostitutes and drug dealers because of it. Money cause the following problems

·         Spiritual damage

·         Family damage

·         Money causes 99% of Crime

·         Money equals a social status

The Wedding Cake in the Middle of the Road

Kids of today they don’t believe in fairytales like back in the days and I still remember my grand mama, she used to tell us about scary and funny stories. The story reminds me of everyday life in the township were you witness a lot of parents fail to support their own children because of poverty, some they are trying so hard to support their children, they end up doing laundry for those people who are privilege in order to put food on the table.

The Wedding Cake in the Middle of the Road is based on the fairytale which wrote by Stuart Dybbek's. He tells us about the story of lonely boy’s friendship with an imaginary bride and groom, their shoes covered with frosting. The story tells us about the hardships that we are facing in life especially nowadays.

It makes me question our current government especially our leaders who spent millions on their birth day parties and also driving expensive cars while people are starving

Please tell me what has to do with pickled fish, Easter egg and Good Friday?

I grew up not knowing anything about Pickled Fish and Easter egg. All I know about Easters is that Christians get together celebrate the life of Jesus Christ.  According to my knowledge Good Friday means a holiday celebrated by Christians, who believe in the death and rebirth of Jesus Christ, and the holiday is recognized as the historical day that Jesus died.

In our days most of the people are celebrating this day differently some by having family dinner which is Pickled Fish, it makes me wonder where this trend coming from. Everywhere in the malls and shopping centre you see Easter egg adverts, and in some grocery stores picked fish Buffet. I need your help can please someone  tells me what pickled fish and Easter egg has to do with Good Friday, maybe I’m later back.

You can take me out of the township but you can’t township out of me

Growing up in the township seeing people you admire driving 1989 BMW 325 is (Igusheshe or Ithemba lamarumusha) some driving 1989 BMW 333 limited edition ( Insimbi yama rumusha),  and having that dream that one day I’m going to drive or own that car. Those were the days because I’m a growing up man who have responsibilities and goals, despite that I grew in the township.

However we are working so hard in order to make it in life, some are made it, and some are not, those people who made it in life they don’t want anything do with the township. I just wonder what they are going to tell their grand children about their lives. As for me I don’t see nothing wrong about   kasi (township), it’s what you see it’s what you get’.

One of the things that make me loves kasi its

·        Culture       : Drifting and loud sound

·        Lingo                   : Ingamla ( white man), Mabhebeza (women)

·        Mindset      : we don’t buy faces , we don’t care who you are

·        Food          : Pap and Nyama or braai meat

Tourists are flocking in the township because they want experience our life. One of the people who forget where I’m coming, you can take me out of the township but you can’t township out of me.

How do you step from the top of a 100-foot pole?

Life is about what you want? How are you going to get it? What are you going to do with it?  All my days at varsity I met different people coming from different background, some of them coming far as Limpopo, some coming far as Congo and Sierra Leone.

Let me tell you a story of a friend of mine by the name Linda muhwambi, was born in Congo and raised in Sierra Leone 26 years ago. Muhwambi was one of the children who were forced to be a child soldier, but fortunately he ran away from the camp because he didn’t want to be a soldier, all he wanted was to be a doctor.

He left the camp without food but he knew where he was heading to, fortunately enough he found himself in South African. Image yourself in a foreign land without your family and you have to start a new life. However he managed to get a job in a nearest farm and he worked so hard to save his money, and then left the farm job for security job. After some time he enrolled at Boland College for National Certificate Civil Engineering and Construction, by that time he was working straight night and during the day attending his classes. After he passes his course he enrols at Stellenbosch University for Medicine.

Today Linda Muhwambi is currently doing his third year in medicine. Life is all about hard work, risk, determination

We are afraid of the wrong things

Have you ever think what would happen if you not listening to your parents. Our parents raised us with love and respect, but sometimes we tend to forget about what they thought us, because we tend to listen to our friends.
I remember when I grew up my parents used to tell me if you do A&B this is what will happen to you, because at that time we were listening because we were children. We were afraid of the wrong things but as child you want to experiment or experience what your parents told you not do it. In our culture if you a child especial girl there is certain food that you not allow to eat because the elders know what is going to happen to you. But the main problem with children is curiosity and they want to know what the main reason be hide not eating certain food. We are afraid of the wrong things

Fish falling from the sky

After I read story about more 120 Nigerians were deported because of fake documents, and Nigerian government intervene on the matter by saying South African government is Xenophobic.
The document which was asked by South African authorities was the yellow card, which is a public health document, shows that bearers have been vaccinated against yellow fever.
I believe that each an every country has its own rules and regulations that have to be followed. But the problem is that the Nigerian government cancelled all the airlines between Johannesburg Nigeria due the fact that South African government is xenophobic.
However the Nigerian authorities continued to point fingers to our government about their own problems, and South Africans who are working in Nigerian denial access because of misunderstanding, fish falling from the sky
