The Wedding Cake in the Middle of the Road

Kids of today they don’t believe in fairytales like back in the days and I still remember my grand mama, she used to tell us about scary and funny stories. The story reminds me of everyday life in the township were you witness a lot of parents fail to support their own children because of poverty, some they are trying so hard to support their children, they end up doing laundry for those people who are privilege in order to put food on the table.

The Wedding Cake in the Middle of the Road is based on the fairytale which wrote by Stuart Dybbek's. He tells us about the story of lonely boy’s friendship with an imaginary bride and groom, their shoes covered with frosting. The story tells us about the hardships that we are facing in life especially nowadays.

It makes me question our current government especially our leaders who spent millions on their birth day parties and also driving expensive cars while people are starving
